Kicking Off a Big Year at Kaizen
Happy New Year from all of us at Kaizen Soccer.
We’re heading into this year with a lot of momentum, new ideas, and clear plans for continued growth. Last year alone, we trained on 294 days and logged 1,200+ hours on the field—a reflection of the commitment from our players, families, and staff. That consistency has set the foundation for what we’re building next.
This year, you’ll see expanded programs, more playing opportunities, and continued improvements across everything we offer. Below is an overview of what’s coming up at Kaizen.
Monthly Membership Program
Our Monthly Membership remains one of the best options for players looking for consistent training and long-term development.
Membership includes:
Unlimited access to small group training sessions
Pickup games and LUV Center sessions
25% off camps and merchandise
Additional tune-up sessions leading into club season
Membership is $175 per month, with a one-time $25 activation fee during the first month only. This program is ideal for players who want frequent reps, structure, and continuity in their training.
Summer Camps & Clinics
Summer camp registration is officially open. Our camps are designed for players ages 5 and up, open to all skill levels, and focused on fun, confidence, and development.
Camps run Monday–Thursday, with Friday reserved as a makeup rain day if needed. Each week includes:
Small-sided games
Technical training
Competitive challenges
A positive, high-energy environment
During lunch breaks, players will watch World Cup game replays for inspiration and enjoyment (no live matches occur during camp hours).
Summer Camp Dates
June 1–4
June 8–11
June 22–25 – Futsal Camp (Gaston Christian, Kings Mountain campus – limited to 25 players)
July 6–9
July 13–16
July 20–23
All camps will be held at Gaston Christian in Gastonia, except the June 22–25 futsal camp, which will take place at the Kings Mountain campus.
In addition to full-week camps, we’ll be offering shorter clinics and futsal clinics throughout the summer at both Gastonia and Kings Mountain. These sessions are typically scheduled on weekdays when school is out and are perfect for players looking to sharpen specific skills in a fast-paced setting.
MLS GO Program
MLS GO will be returning soon with some exciting updates.
Last year’s program provided players with a fun league environment alongside structured training, official MLS kits, and tickets to a Charlotte FC match (one for the player and one for a parent). We carefully reviewed feedback from last season and are making adjustments to improve the experience.
As our first league offering, MLS GO was a valuable learning opportunity, and we’re committed to continuing to improve. More details and registration information will be shared soon.
Triad 5 & Tournament Play
One of our new focuses this year is expanding game-based opportunities through small-sided, futsal, and full-field tournaments, including events like Triad 5.
These tournaments allow players to:
Compete in meaningful matches
Apply training concepts in real game situations
Play locally with minimal travel
Our goal is to provide affordable, competitive opportunities that complement our training model and support player development.
Afterschool Programs
Our Afterschool Programs are back at both Gaston Christian School locations. We’re also looking to expand and partner with additional schools for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you’re able to connect us with school administrators or staff, we would greatly appreciate the introduction.
Homeschool Academy
Our Homeschool Academy continues to grow and will expand further this year.
Days: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 9:00–10:00 AM
This program provides homeschool players with a focused, supportive environment to train consistently during the school day. If you know a homeschool family, co-op, or group that may be interested, we’d love to connect.
Expanded Futsal Training
We’re offering more futsal training this year at multiple locations:
Tennis courts next to our current outdoor training field
Indoor gyms at GCS Gastonia and GCS Kings Mountain
Futsal sessions emphasize quick decision-making, technical sharpness, creativity, and a fast-paced style of play that translates directly to the outdoor game.
Small Group & Individual Training
In addition to memberships and futsal sessions, we continue to offer small group and individual training. These sessions are designed for players who want targeted work on specific skills, technical details, and personalized development plans.
Coaches, Staff & Intern Opportunities
We’re actively looking for coaches, staff members, and motivated college interns for our spring and summer programs. If you or someone you know is interested in gaining hands-on experience in coaching, training, or sports management, we’d love to hear from you.
Kaizen Shop
We still have a limited supply of Kaizen hats and pullovers, along with plenty of Kaizen Monthly Member shirts available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Important Reminders
Please reserve sessions at least 4 hours in advance using the Acuity Scheduling app.
Sharing your experience with a Google or Apple Maps review helps new families find Kaizen.
Camp, clinic, and program spots are limited—early registration is strongly recommended.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful for the continued support from the Kaizen community. Here’s to a strong year of growth, development, and a genuine love for the game.
